Participating cities and metropolitan regions

City Instruments is carried out by a project consortium of seven project partners plus one associated partner from a total of seven countries.

The partners are either the city administrations or energy agencies. The mix of these two types of actors guarantees the fruitfulness of the discussions as representatives of the municipal may be more versed in the areas of which instruments are realistic in terms of public ordinances and finances, while representatives of energy agencies may have more experience in designing and developing targeted instruments involving the co-operation of a range of stakeholders and bold marketing campaigns.
